The evolution of recent human history has been dominated by minority control over the majority, the rulers have come up with nessesary illusion for compliance and servitude of the many, Science and technology has created a world of plenty, but the market mechanism is about artificial scarcity to perpetuate poverty and exploitation in a modality of war, enviornmental destructions, animal cruelty and so on . The new paradigm is sharing the Earth for our collective needs and wellbeing

Fabulous video about technology in education, particularly after I'd just found a half dozen sleep inducing vids by teachers who still feel they have to use technology to lecture and who DON'T have video presentation skills. Is this the original production? I've seen quite a few copies.

We need to know what high school students are thinking about education. If you're in high school and make a movie or write an essay discussing education, what works, what doesn't and solutions, you could win $1,000 from the non-profit, Transitions to Complete Education. Check out: t2ce.org for the student perspective contest. We need to get the high school perspective out there for others to see. Keep up the great work, MTV.

But it works, and not everyone can brown bag it. Lastly, all schools MUST teach shop classes, music classes, labs, and everything else you need more than a note book to learn. All this could be done with small changes in prodocall, but for best results, the education budget in the U.S. would have to be raised to 10-20% of the actual federal budget rather than 6%. And Youtube, I am not a robot, so quit testing me!

Teachers should do the same, acting as super visors and mentors rather than other worldly villans who either forgot what it meant to be a student, or somehow never were.... I wish I had my camera. I could have posted a video respobnce by now...Sixth, All students would be requiered to meet for a group exercise program one hour per day. Students would be free to establish theoir own groups based on common intrest and work out styles.Seventh, lunch program. Nobody wants to here those words...

Without one. I replied that we are screwed if we loose our math skills to computers.Next, as previously stated, their should be more infasis on group work. Students should be paired up in teams where they do their own research and present their findings to their peers in an intresting way. Third, ALL SCHOOLS SHOULD HAVE LIBRARIES with up to date reference materials. Fourh, students should be encouraged to roam the hallways and work in spaces they find comfortable...
